  • Social Safety Net Survey Findings

    Wheelhouse’s Social Safety Net Survey identified unemployment insurance, financial assistance and community as key to sustaining the creative industries during the pandemic and beyond.

  • Nontraditional Worker Study

    Creative Industries was one of two case studies in this groundbreaking Department of Commerce report. Wheelhouse helped researchers identify creative economy leaders, business owners, and workers to give their perspective for the study.

  • Cultural And Creative Economic Recovery Survey Data Summaries

    Wheelhouse participated as one of the 14 organizations who partnered to help identify the needs of creative individuals and organizations during the recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  • CIRTF: Key Themes And Policy Recommendations

    Wheelhouse convened the Creative Industries Recovery Task Force which identified the needs of the creative industries during the long road to recovery. 27 focus groups with a diverse group of stakeholders informed this important work that was presented to the Department of Commerce.

  • Motion Picture Competitiveness Program Report

    Washington Filmworks partnered with the Department of Commerce to look at the economic impact of film, and made recommendations about how to build a stronger creative economy in Washington State.
